A Miyagi-based engineer who used to work for a leading car manufacturer has designed a sporty and surprisingly maneuverable style of tricycle for adults. His tricycles sport the double-wheel axle in the front rather than the back. The “trikes” are a unique pleasure to ride and a convenient mode of transportation for sightseeing in the Naruko area.

Trike rental is available only to visitors staying overnight at participating accommodations in the Higashi-Naruko Onsen area, like Ryokan Ohnuma and Kanshichiyu (勘七湯).
