Climate in Miyagi

Located about 300 km north from Tokyo, Miyagi features a colder climate than Tokyo. Yet of the northerly Tohoku region, it is one of the mildest, and with its cool summer and snowy winter, many people say it is a comfortable climate to live in. Please note, however, that due to Miyagi's topological diversity, its climate differs greatly throughout the prefecture.
