• Don't miss out on the Sendai Pageant of Starlight, the largest winter illumination in the Tohoku region! Every winter, a beautiful avenue in downtown Sendai called Jozenji-dori Avenue that is lined with 160 zelkova trees becomes lit up with over 600,000 lights. The beautiful lights and magical atmosphere will surely warm your heart. In addition to enjoying the scenery while strolling down the street, you can also have some tasty food and drinks, listen to a concert, or even go ice skating!

    Features: Student Volunteer Group offers information, distributes leaflets, cleans the venue and sells "Hika Ring" charity bracelets. For three days, (December 23–25) a Christmas tree made-up of 3-meter-long strips of paper will be set up in the Civic Plaza for visitors to write down their wishes!

    Who's Your Santa?
